SBC allows vibrant graphics

Lanner Electronics has released the VES-300, a low power 8.9cm single board computer. Using the 945GSE and ICH7M chipset and powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, this SBC is for industrial and commercial settings.
It has serial ATA support, comes with a Compact Flash socket and holds up to 2Gbyte of ram. There are six USB and four com ports for peripheral connectivity and two Ethernet ports for network communications.

The motherboard is designed to be integrated in a fanless system, relying only on a passive CPU heatsink for cooling. It can operate between 0 and +60˚C.
It can be used for vibrant displays with integrated graphics via the 945GSE, and supports VGA and LVDS outputs. On the board is a SDVO LVDS transmitter, which lets the LVDS output operate at 24bit rather than 18bit. This higher bandwidth lets it display more colours for larger, more vibrant displays.
Dual 10/100/1000Mbit/s RJ45 Ethernet ports are controlled via a Realtek RTL8111C. There is a mic-in and line-out for audio applications.
It supports Linux kernel 2.4.16 or above, Windows XP (32bit), Windows 2000, XP Embedded and CE Embedded 6.0 operating systems.
